  “The Henry Cho Comedy Show” will air on GAC (Great American Country) on Sept 8th at 8pm EST. The show will have sketches, stand ups, videos, country artists and more. Henry pitched the idea to GAC execs as a modern day Carol Burnett and a clean SNL (Saturday Night Live). The need for clean comedy on television is great and the market is huge. By choosing to partner with GAC, Cho is able to work on the show and stay where he and his family want to live, Nashville, TN. With the help of his country star pals (Vince Gill, Phil Vasser, Rodney Atkins to name 3) he’s put together a unique show. The live taping is on Monday July 25th in Nashville and will feature 2 stand up comedians along with Henry and other sketches and videos and a country artist or two. Henry’s friend and co-writer for his past CBS/Paramount pilot script, Jim Hope, is also involved as co-creator, co-writer, co-producer along with Cho. The adult but clean comedy is something the entire family can enjoy. So sit back, grab the kids if you have them and enjoy the ride, gonna be a funny one.

About

Laugh Away SMA is a comedy event. But it’s more than that. Yes, it provides a fun evening out for the community. It also helps save the lives of children with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a degenerative disease that causes the muscles to waste away, which eventually leads to death.

All of the proceeds benefit Stop SMA, a small non-profit with a big heart and a big vision — to stop SMA in its tracks. Stop SMA funds groundbreaking research that is vital to finding a cure for SMA.

You’ve heard that laughter is the best medicine. We’re here to tell you that seeing is believing. Your $30 ticket will help us continue our fight against SMA. Finding a cure for SMA is not far flung theory. Researchers believe that we are on the brink of curing SMA and that this cure may be possible within five years. The finish line is in sight and we need your help to get there.

Because of Stop SMA’s all-volunteer staff, 100% of the proceeds will be used to fund research and raise awareness about the cause (so that we can fund more research).

So make sure you grab some tickets, mark your calendar, and prepare to have a hilariously entertaining night out. And pat yourself on the back because you are going to laugh away SMA.
